42 Therefore they fled before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness, but the battle overtook them: also they which came out of the cities, slew them [a]among them.
43 Thus they compassed the Benjamites about, and [b]chased them at ease, and overran them, even over against Gibeah on the East side.
44 And there were slain of Benjamin eighteen thousand men, which were all men of war.
